This kid was, by far, the easiest and funniest little guy I have photographed in a very long time. My kids were harder to photograph then him and they are pretty dang easy. I was shamelessly giddy editing his portraits and could not wait to show a little something here on the blog. Here is a sneak peek at Mr. Benny.

The monthly challenge theme for August is “playtime”. Isn’t that what summer break is all about? Here in Richmond Texas, school has since started and playtime is a lot more limited then the months of June, July, and August. As I sit here, munching on peanut butter M & M’s, thinking of the past few months I can’t help but feel like life is so bittersweet. What I would give to be 24 again, playing in my backyard with my 3 and 4 year old babies.
